IDKIIRC (I Don't Know If I Remember Correctly) contains stories and memories that my brain insists are true but, nonetheless are surely full of misapprehensions, misinformation, misrepresentations and mis-communications. Frankly, I don't care. If my brain certifies them as reality then disagreement would be painful. This is the way I remember things happening and this is my memoir. If you were a part of them and remember events differently, let me know and I'll try to balance things out. Be aware, however, that as a storyteller I am not one to allow much to get in the way of a good narrative and I intend to take full advantage of hyperbole and my poetic license. My family is full of wonderful people who have left evanescent traces in history. I am the least of them, but I am the first to try to leave a full record of his life. Because of my inconsiderate brain, this memoir will be piecemeal, hopping about from place to place and from time to time. In the course of this, I'm sure that I will mangle facts about relatives. If I get caught at it, I'll do my best to correct them.
